She also had a mainstream acting role in Blake Edwards’ 10 as one of the porn actresses living up the hill, but turned down a part in The Howling because of what she saw as the film’s excessive violence.

Annette Haven finally retired from starring in porn films in the late 1980s, but she did reappear in the mid-1990s to star in a couple of fetish videos with her frequent ’70s costar, Jamie Gillis, and dominatrix Kim Wylde.
